Hi Third P.brbrYes, I most definitely believe that problems can be solved through prayer. ASKbrbrAsk, and you shall receivebrSeek, and you shall findbrKnock and the door shall be opened.br The Bible, New Testament, Matthew brbrGod will not answer our selfish prayers, such as to win the Lottery, etc. But He does listen to our sincere prayers and He does answer them. They are not always in the exact way we expected but if we pay attention, we will see that He has given us what we need.brbrGod promises that He will not give us more than we can endure. I know that I sometimes feel as Mother Teresa didbrbrquotI know God will not give me anything I cant handle. I just wish that He wouldnt trust me so much.quotbrbrI have always prayed for a way to help more people, spiritually. I have always enjoyed teaching Sunday School and volunteering at the church amp elsewhere. I always felt, though, that I worked better privately, on a oneonone basis. I wasnt sure how to go about that.brbrSome years ago, I became ill with a rare disease, a terminal one, far, far too young. I was, according to the doctors, supposed to leave this earth by years ago. Well, Im still here, pestering everyone.brbrIt took me a long time to see that one of my lifelong prayers was answered, albeit in a way I would have preferred to be different. I have been bedridden for the past years. People come to my home to talk to me. They end up talking about their needs amp concerns thats fine with me. It took me of those years to realize that God HAD given me my ministry!brbrI minister to people from my bedside. I do not preach. I do not bring up the topic of religion everyone else does! For some reason, they seem to feel I help them. Maybe they are helped through me, but not BY me.brbrquotI myself do nothing. The Holy Spirit accomplishes all through me.quot William Blake brbrThat is what I believe. I am but a messenger of God. I will pray with people if they want. I will listen to their troubles. But I do not accomplish anything I am but an instrument. I will say, though, that I do know that problems can be solved through prayer. I have seen it happen far too often for it to be called coincidence.brbrMany people pray. That does not mean there will be no problems on this earth. There always will be until the end of time. However, I do know that God has always been there for me, and has always answered my prayers. That doesnt mean that I have had an easy life, because I have not. However, without Gods help, I do not know how I would have survived so much.brbrGod does solve problems. One problem is that too many people want things, like winning lottery tickets, handed to them. They are not realistic. Also, there are insincere people who dont want to do any of the work.brbrGod gives every bird its food but He does not throw it into its nest.brbrPeace.
