Whats the best way to remove wrinkles from canvas?

Whats the best way to remove wrinkles from canvas?
Of course this canvas is the backing for an oil painting... Can I iron it using a cloth or towel between the iron and canvas? Other suggestions?

Answer

Take a dry towel, put it over the painting, take the iron,brput it on steam and run the iron gently over the towel and that should the problem. Try it on a small portion of the painting first before doing the whole painting to see if that works. Always have patience with all projects.
