Can I write a graphic rape scene?
This is for the little side project Im writing.
Answer
I think you should go for it. Most people do water down rape scenes, for the readers sake. I think it would be a wake up call to all the people who think rape victims deserve their fate. It is a horrible experience that no one should have to face. Maybe this will shed some light on the subject, and open up the eyes of those who have no idea what we go through. Im behind you on that one.
